LGBTQ+ Künstler:innen entwerfen Chrome-Hintergründe zum Pride-Month

Es ist Juni und damit Pride-Month. In diesem Monat feiern wir unterschiedliche sexuelle Identitäten und Orientierungen – was man natürlich zwölf Monate im Jahr tun sollte. Um Künstler:innen aus der LGBTQ+ Community sichtbarer zu machen, hat Google Chrome einige von ihnen beauftragt, Motive zu entwerfen, mit denen ihr eure Chrome-Browser schmücken könnt.

Erste Motive sind seit dem 1. Juni verfügbar. Im Laufe des Junis sollen noch weitere hinzukommen. Die Entwürfe wurden so entwickelt, dass sie auf jeder Art Laptop und Desktop gleich wirken. Die Designs findet man einfach im Chrome Webstore.

Wir haben euch fünf Motive mit den jeweiligen Beschreibungen der Künstler:innen herausgesucht. Solche Easter-Eggs probieren wir doch gerne aus. Welches Motiv ist euer Favorit?

Sofie Birkin: “The story goes that Britomartis leapt into fishermen’s nets to escape the unwanted attention of King Minos, and Artemis rescued her from drowning and turned her into a goddess and a hunting companion. They’re two of the more unambiguously queer characters in Greek mythology.”
